Speed up the speed of on and off:
When you turn off your computer, the system will send a message to running program and the remote server, telling them the system is shutting down and will begin to shut down until receiving the response from the system. How to make the system startup and turning off faster, we can set automatically end task, first find HKEY_CURRENT_USERControl PanelDesktop, set the AutoEndTasks key value to 1; then under the key there is the branch which has a “HungAppTimeout”, set its value to “4000 (or less), the default is 50000; and finally find HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESystemCurrentControlSetControl, also set the value of WaitToKillServiceTimeout to “4000”; this setting will make your computer startup and shout down faster a lot.

Automatically shut down the unresponsive program:
Sometimes, Windows will prompts you that a certain program is stop responding, annoying, by modifying the registry we can make itself off, in HKEY_CURRENT_USER ——- Control Panel —— Desktop, set the value of AutoEndTask as 1, then log out or restart.

Speed up menu display speed:
In order to speed up the display menu, we can set the registry as the following way: find primary key “MenuShowDelay” in HKEY_CURRENT_USERControl PanelDesktop, set it’s value to “0” bang! We can easily speed up the menu display speed.

Clear DLL files not being used in memory:
In the registry entry HKKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersion, add an entry AlwaysUnloadDLL in the Explorer, the default value is set to 1. Note: setting the value from default to 0 means disable this feature.

Clear the “Add / Remove Programs” residual junks:
Open the Registry Editor, “Start” → “Run”, type regedit KHEY- endemic – machine \ software \ Microsoft \ window \ currentversion \ uninstall, all the list of programs of “Add / Remove Programs” are here, we just delete the primary key to the residual program. However, to remind everyone that we’d better make a backup before modifying the registry, in order to recover the registry when error occurs.
